Large-space industrial area with its own airfield

Have a successful take-off and a smooth landing

Right in the centre of the world-famous Junkerswerk factory from where the legendary aircraft Ju 52 once took off, an industrial and commercial area was created in Dessau-Rosslau, in which successful take-offs are once again possible. The development area is about 2 kilometres west of the city centre and boasts ideal logistical connectivity.

Ideal and special conditions

The industrial and commercial area around the airfield offers spaces not only with attractive land prices but can also guarantee the availability of any desired size. The area offers ideal conditions for companies – both for start-ups and for company branches or expansions. The area is primarily developed for use as an industrial site (GI), which means that it is also possible to operate there around the clock.

Ideal infrastructure

The area has an ideal transport connection – one can even land an aircraft right next to the company. In addition to the airfield right outside, there is direct access by roads leading exclusively though commercial areas to reach the federal motorway A9 just five kilometres away, which connects Berlin and Munich. The well-developed B 185 road also makes it possible to reach the A14 motorway connecting Dresden and Magdeburg as well as the A 38 motorway connecting Leipzig and Göttingen very quickly. The industrial port of Aken is located about ten kilometres away and there is also direct road access to that, while the large airport of Halle-Leipzig is about a 30 minute drive away.

A special backdrop for events

Due to its generous area design and its proximity to the “Hugo Junkers Museum for Technology” and the “Old Runway”, the area is not only perfect for business ventures but is also ideally suited for events, offering a very special atmosphere and setting. Every year during the “Airfield festival” the Junkers planes which are lovingly referred to as “Tante Ju” (“Auntie Ju”) take off and land, offering an unforgettable experience during their round flights.
